HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team won its first match of the season as it split a pair of matches against Carroll (Wis.) University and Oneota (N.Y.) University on day two of spring break competition.
BW (1-9) fell to Carroll (9-6) by a final score of 7-6 at the Bluffton High School Tennis Courts. The Yellow Jackets defeated Oneota (4-9) by a final score of 4-3 at the Cordillo Courts.

- Senior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference Emma Trost (Norwalk) and sophomore Saraphina Groh (Cuyahoga Falls) fell at first doubles by a score of 6-1
- Junior Gillian Brown (Brunswick) and sophomore Samantha Thielen (Toledo/Sylvania Northview) fell at second doubles by a score of 6-0
- Senior Mariah Kim (Parma/Lakewood) and freshman Kate Slutz (Salem/West Branch) fell at third doubles by a score of
- Sophomore Collen Andersen (Ashtabula/St. John) fell at first singles by a scores of 6-1 and 6-2

- Andersen and sophomore Olivia Koutouras (Avon Lake) won at first doubles by a score of 6-4
- Trost and Groh won at second doubles by a score of 6-2
- Brown and Thielen won at third doubles by a score of 7-6 (7-0)
- Andersen won at first singles by scores of 6-1 and 6-3
- Koutouras fell at second singles by scores of 4-6, 6-4 and 10-5
