DAVENPORT, Fla. – The Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse team fell to Western Connecticut State University by a final score of 12-10 in a non-conference and neutral-site matchup at Northeast Regional Park.

BW (3-4) was led by junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference attack Carley House (Hilliard / Darby), junior attack Mariana Melgoza (Avon Lake), sophomore attack Emma Northrup (Hudson), and freshman midfielder Ella Szalay (Struthers / Cardinal Mooney) as they each notched two goals. The Brown and Gold were also led by freshman midfielder Izzy Medrick (Strongsville) as she brought the Jackets back into the game with three draw controls after an early deficit.

WestConn was led by junior attack/midfielder Madison Ratchford as she scored six goals and collected two ground balls.
