BEREA, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University baseball team opened the Ohio Athletic Conference schedule as it fell to Ohio Northern University in a doubleheader by final scores of 3-0 and 6-3 at Fisher Field.

- Junior All-OAC shortstop Sean Kolenich (Parma/St. Edward) and junior Academic All-OAC second baseman Matt Terzola (Uniontown/Archbishop Hoban) each supplied a hit for the Jackets
On the Mound
- Senior All-OAC right-hander Vince Dolcemaschio (Los Angeles, Calif/Windward School) threw the Brown and Gold's first complete game of the season where he struck out six and allowed two earned runs on three hits and two walks

- Sophomore right-hander Patrick Straub (Naperville, Ill./Metea Valley) got the start where he went three innings, struck out two, and allowed five runs on six hits
- Freshman right-hander Carson Wilcox (Dublin/Coffman) struck out two of his six batters through 1.2 innings
- Junior Academic All-OAC left-hander Brit Kostura (Tequesta, Fla./Jupiter Christian School) stayed hot with a five-strikeout outing in his 2.1 innings
- Junior All-OAC right-hander Tyler Walker (Fairlawn/Copley) threw one inning where he allowed only one hit with one strikeout
- Sophomore right-hander Jake Heatherington (Bellaire) gave up one walk and struck out the side in the ninth
