BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse team defeated Wilmington College in its Ohio Athletic Conference opener by a final score of 29-0 on the Tressel Field inside the George Finnie Stadium.

BW (5-4, 1-0 OAC) was led by sophomore attack/midfielder Noah Dodgion (Hilliard / Davidson) and freshman attack/midfielder Owen Makar (McDonald, Pa. / South Fayette) as they both tallied four goals. The Brown and Gold were also led by sophomore attack/midfielder Paxton Allison (Redondo Beach, Calif. / St. John Bosco) and freshman attack/midfielder Carter Oschman (Copley) as they both notched three goals.

1st Quarter

• BW scored 16 goals
• The Yellow Jackets won the face-off battle by a 15-2 margin
• The Brown and Gold made 27 shots with 18 on goal

2nd Quarter

• The Yellow Jackets notched six goals
• The Brown and Gold made 19 shots with seven on goal
• BW won the face-off battle by a 6-1 margin

3rd Quarter

• The Brown and Gold scored four goals
• BW won the face-off battle by a 5-0 margin
• The Jackets picked up the most ground balls with 10 total

4th Quarter

• BW tallied three goals
• The Brown and Gold made seven shots with three on goal
• The Yellow Jackets won the face-off battle by a 3-1 margin

BW is back in action on Wednesday, March 26 for an OAC road contest against Ohio Northern University. The game is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. inside of Dial-Roberson Stadium.
