Men's Lacrosse Hooks the Fighting Muskies on Seniors' Day

BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse team faced Muskingum University for its Seniors' Day game in an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup on the Tressel Field inside of the George Finnie Stadium. The Yellow Jackets defeated the Fighting Muskies by a 25-2 final score.

Following the conclusion of today's game, BW honored three senior student-athletes, Academic All-OAC midfielder Owen Tafe (Cleveland Heights / Shaker Heights), attack/midfielder Ryan Yanssens (Lexington, S.C. / River Bluff), and All-OAC face-off specialist Zach Zoul (Strongsville).

BW (7-4, 3-0 OAC) was led by sophomore attack/midfielder Noah Dodgion (Hilliard / Davidson) and junior attack/midfielder Reichen Geiselhart (Cranberry Township, Pa. / Seneca Valley) as they both tallied five goals.

1st Quarter
  • BW scored seven goals
  • The Yellow Jackets tied Muskingum with four face-offs won
  • The Brown and Gold outshot the Muskies 17-2
2nd Quarter
  • BW won the face-off battle by a 7-1 margin
  • The Jackets outshot Muskingum 17-3
  • The Brown and Gold scored eight goals

  • The Jackets outshot the Muskies 19-4
  • BW scored seven goals
  • The Brown and Gold won the face-off battle by a 6-2 margin
4th Quarter
  • BW scored the most goals with three total

  • The Yellow Jackets outshot the Muskies 9-8
BW is back in action on Wednesday, April 2 for an OAC road contest against University of Mount Union. The game is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. inside of Kehres Stadium.
