BEREA, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University baseball team swept Muskingum University in an Ohio Athletic Conference doubleheader by final scores of 2-1 and 7-6 at Fisher Field.
Game 1
Scoring Plays
- Bottom 8th - Junior Academic All-OAC outfielder Reid Fleming (Pickerington/North) took off to steal third but the throw from the Muskies' backstop skipped into left field to allow BW to tie the game
- Bottom 8th - Senior right fielder Justin Carinci (Ajax, Ontario/Pickering) gave the Yellow Jackets the lead on an RBI single
On the Mound
- Senior All-OAC right-hander Vince Dolcemaschio (Los Angeles, Calif./Windward School) pitched his second straight complete game where he allowed no earned runs and struck out seven batters to improve to 5-1 on the year

Scoring Plays
- Bottom 1st - Carinci smacked a single to right but a Muskingum miscue allowed the ball to roll to the wall while junior All-OAC center fielder Dennis Ritlinger-Nirider (Grove City) put the Jackets on the board
- Bottom 1st - Senior Academic All-OAC designated hitter Brandon Gelpi (Monroeville, Pa./Central Catholic) drove in another run with a groundout to extend the lead in the first frame
- Bottom 3rd - Senior All-OAC first baseman Mally Kilbane (Olmsted Township/Olmsted Falls) stayed hot with an RBI double to right
- Bottom 3rd - Senior All-OAC left fielder Joey Marousek (North Royalton) hit one to the gap to bring around two more runs for the Brown and Gold
- Bottom 9th - Fleming came in clutch again by laying down the squeeze bunt to score Carinci and to tie the game back up at six
- Bottom 9th - Marousek had the bases loaded and only needed a base knock to give the Yellow Jackets their fourth sweep of the season
On the Mound
- Junior All-OAC left-hander Brit Kostura (Tequesta, Fla./Jupiter Christian School) took a no-hitter into the seventh once again and finished with five strikeouts allowing onlly two earned runs on two hits through 6.1 innings
- Sophomore right-hander Matt Moscarino (Strongsville/Padua Franciscan) picked up the win after throwing 2.2 perfect innings of relief with two strikeouts
