WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team finished in sixth place at the Ohio Athletic Conference Spring Preview hosted by Heidelberg University at the River Greens Golf Course.

BW was sixth of eight teams with a round of 384 on the par-72 and 5,864-yard River Greens layout.  The University of Mount Union was the champion with a round of 338.

• Senior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference Brooke Newsome (Clyde) fired a round of 87
• Junior Academic All-OAC Alana Smith (Freemont/Ross) carded a round of 90
• Freshman Gillian Mitchell (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mount Lebanon) shot a round of 102
• Senior Chloe Thomas (Norwalk) posted a round of 105
• Freshman Jessie Heron (Tiffin/Columbian) had a round of 110

The Yellow Jackets are back in action when they compete in the three-day OAC Championships hosted by the University of Mount Union on April 25-27 at the River Greens Golf Course.
