BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse team defeated University of Mount Union in its Morgan's Message Game in an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup by a final score of 15-12 on the Tressel Field inside the George Finnie Stadium.

BW (6-6, 2-0 OAC) was led by sophomore All-OAC midfielder Clare Alic (Carmel, Ind. / Guerin Catholic), junior All-OAC attack Carley House (Hilliard / Darby) and sophomore attack Emma Northrup (Hudson) as they each tallied three goals.

Mount Union was led by senior midfielder Eden Kesler as she notched four goals, one draw control and one caused turnover.

1st Quarter

• BW tied the Purple Raiders with four goals
• The Yellow Jackets won the draw control battle by a 3-2 margin
• The Brown and Gold outshot Mount Union 9-6

2nd Quarter

• The Jackets tied the Purple Raiders with eight shots
• BW scored the most goals with six total

• BW outshot Mount Union 10-6
• The Yellow Jackets scored the most goals with five total
• The Brown and Gold won the draw control battle by a 2-1 margin

• The Purple Raiders outshot BW 6-4
• BW won the draw control battle by a 2-1 margin
• Mount Union scored the most goals with four total

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, April 5 for an OAC road contest against Capital University. The game is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. on the Purmort Field inside of Bernlohr Stadium.
