BEREA, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University baseball team defeated Oberlin College by a final score of 25-3 in a non-conference game at Fisher Field.

- Top 2nd - Senior Academic All-OAC catcher Eric Coode (Painesville/Mentor) grounded out to second but was able to bring home a run
- Top 2nd - Senior All-OAC left fielder Joey Marousek (North Royalton) doubled down the line to extend the lead

- Top 3rd - Ritlinger-Nirider teed off for a no-doubt two-run homer

- Top 3rd - English hit a sac fly out to right for the last run in a six-run inning
- Top 4th - Kilbane continued to rake with an RBI double

- Top 6th - Senior infielder Sam Patriarco (Solon) picked up his second RBI of the year after grounding out with the bases loaded
- Top 6th - Sophomore second baseman Jace Druschel (Tampa, Fla/George Steinbrenner) finished the scoring on the day with a two-run double
On the Mound
- Junior All-OAC right-hander Tyler Walker (Fairlawn/Copley) got the start and the win after holding Oberlin to four hits allowing three walks with no earned runs and a season-high eight strikeouts
- Junior Academic All-OAC left-hander Brandon Bechtold (Brook Park/Berea-Midpark) made his season debut after going one inning where he allowed two runs on one hit and struck out two
- Freshman right-hander Sam Hoffman (Mentor/Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) made his debut as a Yellow Jacket where he went three up-three down in the seventh with two strikeouts
