BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's tennis team dropped its last ever Ohio Athletic Conference match to crosstown rival John Carroll University in the final between the schools by a final score of 7-0 inside the Short Family Tennis Center
 
John Carroll (9-4, 3-1 OAC) won all three doubles matches and all six singles matches over BW (2-14, 0-4 OAC).
 
Doubles

• Sophomore Colleen Andersen (Ashtabula/St. John) and Olivia Koutouras (Avon Lake) fell at first doubles by a score of 6-0
• Senior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference Emma Trost (Norwalk) and sophomore Saraphina Groh (Cuyahoga Falls) fell at second doubles by a score of 6-0
• Junior Gillian Brown (Brunswick) and sophomore Samantha Thielen (Toledo/Sylvania Northview) fell at third doubles by a score of 6-1

Singles

• Andersen fell at first singles by scores of 6-2 and 6-1
• Koutouras fell at second singles by identical scores 6-0
• Groh fell at third singles by identical scores of 6-1
• Trost fell at fourth singles by scores of 6-0
• Brown fell at fifth singles by scores of 6-1 and 6-0
• Thielen fell at sixth singles by identical scores of 6-1

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, April 26 when they close out the 2024-25 season with an OAC match against Capital University on the Pop Collins Tennis Courts at 1 p.m.
