BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse team faced Ohio Northern University for its Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinal game on the Tressel Field inside of the George Finnie Stadium. The Yellow Jackets defeated the Polar Bears by a final score of 18-7.
While playing a woman down in the second quarter, sophomore All-OAC midfielder
Clare Alic (Carmel, Ind. / Guerin Catholic) scored her 50th goal of the season for the second year in a row. As the OAC Rookie of the Year in 2024,
Alic became the third player in program history to reach 50 goals in one season.
BW (10-8, 5-2 OAC) was led by
Alic as she notched five goals with six draw controls, five ground balls and two caused turnovers. The Yellow Jackets were also led by senior midfielder
Taylor Miklos (Brunswick) as she tallied three goals with three ground balls and two caused turnovers.

The fourth-seeded Yellow Jackets are back in action on Wednesday, April 30 for the OAC Tournament Semifinals in a road contest against top-seeded University of Mount Union. The game is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. inside of Kehres Stadium.
