LIMA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team opened the Ohio Athletic Conference portion of its schedule as it fell to Ohio Northern University by a final score of 7-0 at the Westwood Tennis Center.

Ohio Northern (12-3, 1-0 OAC) won all three doubles matches and all six singles matches over BW (2-11, 0-1 OAC).

Doubles

• Sophomore Colleen Andersen (Ashtabula/St. John) and Olivia Koutouras (Avon Lake) fell at first doubles by a score of 6-1
• Senior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference Emma Trost (Norwalk) and sophomore Saraphina Groh (Cuyahoga Falls) fell at second doubles by a score of 6-0
• Junior Gillian Brown (Brunswick) and sophomore Samantha Thielen (Toledo/Sylvania Northview) fell at third doubles by a score of 6-0

Singles

• Andersen fell at first singles by identical scores of 6-0
• Koutouras fell at second singles by scores of 6-0 and 6-1
• Groh fell at third singles by identical scores of 6-0
• Trost fell at fourth singles by identical scores of 6-0
• Brown fell at fifth singles by scores of 6-1 and 6-0
• Thielen fell at sixth singles by identical scores of 6-0

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Tuesday, April 15 when they host an OAC match against the University of Mount Union on the Pop Collins Tennis Courts at 3:30 p.m.
