WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Three Baldwin Wallace University men's tennis student-athletes have been named to the 2025 All-Ohio Athletic Conference Team.
Junior
Will Horvath (Oregon/Clay) was selected to the first team while senior
Matt McGee (Ottawa Hills) was named to the second team. Freshman
Vinny Cannata (Aurora) was tabbed as honorable mention.
Horvath, who earns his third straight first team accolade, was tied for third on the team with 10 singles victories and overall record of 10-8. He was tied for the squad lead with 15 doubles wins and a record of 15-8. For his career,
Horvath has a singles record of 40-14 and doubles record of 53-18. Off the court, he is an Academic All-OAC honoree and an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athlete.
McGee garners his third career accolade after being a first team selection the previous two seasons. This year, he was tied for third on the team with 10 singles wins and an overall record of 10-9.
McGee was second on the squad with 12 doubles wins and a 12-10 record. For his career,
McGee has a singles record of 48-26 and a doubles mark of 66-25. Off the court, he is a two-time Academic All-OAC honoree, two-time Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athlete, College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District selection, Jacket Scholar and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society.
Cannata, who his first career honor, was tied for second on the team with 11 wins and a record of 11-5. He finished the season tied for squad lead with 15 doubles wins and a record of 15-4.
BW finished the 2024-25 season with an overall record of 15-5 and a 2-2 mark in the OAC. The Yellow Jackets advance to the OAC Tournament semifinals.
