Men’s Lacrosse Ends 2025 Season in Heartbreaking OAC Championship Loss to Ohio Northern

BEREA, Ohio – The top-seeded Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse team faced second-seeded Ohio Northern University in the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament Championship on the Tressel Field inside of the George Finnie Stadium. The Yellow Jackets fell to the Polar Bears by a 10-9 final score.

BW (14-5, 9-0 OAC) was led by junior All-OAC attack/midfielder Jake Koonmen (Fairport, N.Y.) as he tallied three goals with one ground ball. The Yellow Jackets were also led by junior attack/midfielder Reichen Geiselhart (Cranberry Township, Pa. / Seneca Valley) as he notched two goals with two ground balls and one assist.

Ohio Northern was led by junior attack Colin Willits as he scored three goals and picked up one ground ball. The Polar Bears were also led by sophomore attack/midfielder Jack Chaney as he racked up two goals with one assist and one ground ball.
