Box Score BEXLEY, Ohio – For the third consecutive game, the Baldwin Wallace University football team secured a victory, defeating Capital University 44-7 in an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup at Purmort Field inside Bernlohr Stadium.
BW (3-0, 2-0 OAC) improved to 43-12 in the all-time series, including winning the last eight straight and 12 of the last 13 games. Capital (1-1, 0-1 OAC) has now lost eight straight OAC openers.

- Junior All-OAC quarterback Charlie Bubonics (Solon) completed 23-of-33 passes for 224 yards with one touchdown
- Freshman Boston Mulinix (North Benton/West Branch) rushed for a career-high 120 yards on 10 carries with one touchdown
- Junior Academic All-OAC wide receiver Xavier Balson (North Olmsted) caught a career-high six passes for a career-best 93 yards
- Senior linebacker Dom Tromba (Painesville/Riverside) led the defense with eight tackles

- Love also led the rushing attack as he carried the ball nine times for 94 yards
