HINCKLEY, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team won its first tournament of the season at it captured it very own BW Fall Tri-Match at the Pine Hills Golf Club.
BW was the champion of three teams with 309 strokes on the par-72 and 6,572 Pine Hills layout. Hiram College and Kent State University at Tuscarawas tied for second with 332 strokes.

- Freshman Anthony Asta (Indian River, Ontario, Canada/St. Peter's) earned his second straight Medalist honor as he finished first of 28 golfers with an even round of 72
- Freshman Kevin Ardner (Tiffin/Calvert) was the runner-up with a season-low round of 74
- Junior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference CJ Goodrich (Chardon) placed seventh with a round of 81
- Freshman Coen Miller (Medina) tied for eighth with a round of 82
- Junior Charlie DeCapua (Independence) shot a round of 85

- Sophomore Trent Donovan (North Olmsted) finished in sixth place with a round of 80
- Senior Academic All-OAC Ben McCallum (Canton/Massillon Jackson) tied for eighth with a round of 82
- Junior Zach Martin (Poland/Seminary) and freshman Dom Brenner (Sebring/West Branch) each carded a round of 83
- Freshman Caleb Klatt (Curtice/Genoa) shot a round of 85
- Sophomore Payton Brown (Cranberry Township, Pa./Seneca Valley) posted a round of 86
- Freshman Stephan Lukac (Norwalk) tallied a round of 96
- Junior Hunter Shrefler (Middleburg Heights/Berea-Midpark) had a round of 98
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday and Sunday, September 13 and 14 when they travel to Alliance to compete in the University of Mount Union Fall Invitational at the Tannenhauf Golf Club.
