FORT WAYNE, Ind.-- The Baldwin Wallace University women's wrestling team competed in an unscored two-day Warrior Open tournament hosted by Indiana Institute of Technology inside the Doug Edgar Indoor Track Facility.
BW had three wrestlers compete in five different brackets. Counting the forfeits that they won, the Brown and Gold had a total of eight victories throughout the two days. Freshman 138-pounder Siena Palmisciano (Chapel Hill, NC/Durham) led the way by coming in first place in the Hard Luck Pancake 138-pound division.

Freshman 117-pounder Esmeralda Schroeder (McComb/Findlay) - Second place

- Lost a 12-2 technical fall to unattached Hailey Korporal
- Lost by pinfall in 32 seconds to Nina Hamm of NCJAA Southeastern (Iowa) CommunityÂ
- Won by a forfeit over Erta Berqil of Mount Union
- Won a 15-9 decision over Rihanna Ricks of Avila
Sophomore 160-pounder Gillian Coulson (Lakewood) - Fourth place
- Lost by pinfall in 4:23 to Claire Bennett of Manchester (Ind.)
- Won by pinfall in 2:55 over Bella Cyrkiel of John CarrollÂ
- Lost an 11-1 technical fall to unattached Haley Diaz
- Won a 10-0 technical fall over Katelyn Capper of ndiana Tech
