BEREA, Ohio — The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team closed out its fall season with an exciting 4-3 victory over Mount Vernon Nazarene University on Monday evening at the Pop Collins Tennis Courts.

Colleen Andersen and
Olivia Koutouras earned a 6-3 victory over Deah Bresson and Annie Mahek in the first match, but the Cougars secured wins the next two matches to take the point.
The Yellow Jackets responded in singles, winning four of the six matches to secure the overall victory.
Andersen kicked things off by defeated Mahek, 6-4, 6-3, while
Emma Reynolds cruised past Bresson, 6-1, 6-1. Koutouras followed with a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Andi Green to give Baldwin Wallace a 3-1 lead.
Mount Vernon Nazarene responded with back-to-back wins to even the match at 3-3, setting up a decisive battle in the final match.
Ashley Franks would be the one to deliver the deciding point for the Yellow Jackets, battling past Elisha Burson in three exciting sets, 7-5 (7-3), 6-7 (6-8), and 10-7, to clinch the 4-3 victory.
Looking Ahead
The Yellow Jackets conclude their fall season with a 4-1 record and will carry that momentum into the spring portion of the 2026-27 season.
