CLEVELAND, Ohio – The No. 24 nationally ranked Baldwin Wallace University men's indoor track and field team, led by Head Coach
Joe Eby, finished their second meet at Case Western this season in their last competition before the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships. They competed in the Ed Finnigan Greater Cleveland Meet inside the Veale Convocation, Recreation, and Athletic Center.
Track Event Highlights
- Indoor All-OAC senior Rodney Washington Jr. (Warrensville Heights/Benedictine) earned first place in the 200m dash with a time of 22.95 seconds. This was only .05 seconds shy of his personal best.
- Junior All-OAC hurdler Samuel Skor (Columbia Station/Columbia) finished in second place in the 60m hurdles with his time of 8.47 seconds.
Field Event Highlights
- Junior All-OAC jumper Amari Waddy (Fort Campbell, Ky.) earned a career-best high jump mark of 2.05m (6' 8.75") to take first place and set the best height in the OAC.
- Sophomore thrower Lucas Frye (Galena/Olentangy Orange) led the way in his collegiate triple jump debut with his first-place mark of 12.68m (41' 7.25"). His jump now ranks seventh in the OAC.
- All-OAC senior thrower Mason Kiesel (New London / South Central) earned first place in the shot put with his 15.15m (49' 8.5") put.
- Junior USTFCCCA All-Academic thrower Kitar Olsen (Whitefish, Mont.) landed in first in the weight throw with his mark of 18.41m (60' 5"), which is less than one meter shy of his PR.
