LA CROSSE, Wis. – Baldwin Wallace University junior All-American thrower Kitar Olsen (Whitefish, Mont.) competed in the hammer throw at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse inside the Veteran's Memorial Field Sports Complex.
 
Olsen finished the hammer throw competition with a mark of 54.83m (179' 10") to take 18th place. This was his second competition on a national stage of the 2025-26 school year, competing in the weight throw at the NCAA Indoor Nationals while earning First Team All-American honors. Today was his second NCAA championship hammer throw competition of his career, and he improved his hammer throw mark from the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championship.
