WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball team lost a thrilling double overtime game to the Wilmington College Quakers by a final score of 94-93 inside the Fred Raizk Arena to conclude the regular season.
The game marks the first double-overtime contest since January 29, 2025 for the Yellow Jackets, where they lost to Ohio Northern University, 85-82.
A contested first half saw some scoring runs by Wilmington which led to them being ahead at the break by 10 points. BW came out of halftime hot and took the lead with 13:14 left in the second half. Ultimately, they could not stay in the lead, but a last second basket by the Yellow Jackets forced overtime. After going down four in the first overtime period, BW battled back to send it into a second overtime. A highly competitive second overtime period saw the game come down to the last second when Wilmington sunk a free throw to ultimately win the game.
