WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball team lost a thrilling double overtime game to the Wilmington College Quakers by a final score of 94-93 inside the Fred Raizk Arena to conclude the regular season.

The game marks the first double-overtime contest since January 29, 2025 for the Yellow Jackets, where they lost to Ohio Northern University, 85-82.

A contested first half saw some scoring runs by Wilmington which led to them being ahead at the break by 10 points. BW came out of halftime hot and took the lead with 13:14 left in the second half. Ultimately, they could not stay in the lead, but a last second basket by the Yellow Jackets forced overtime. After going down four in the first overtime period, BW battled back to send it into a second overtime. A highly competitive second overtime period saw the game come down to the last second when Wilmington sunk a free throw to ultimately win the game.

BW Leaders (7-18, 4-12 OAC)

• Senior guard Myles Reynolds (Cleveland) led the Brown and Gold in points with 20

• Junior forward Isaac Richardson (Avon Lake) had a double-double with 18 points and a team-high 11 rebounds and added three steals which led the team

• Junior guard Nick Timberlake (Stow) led the team in three-point shooting, going four-for-five from beyond the arc with 12 total points

Wilmington Leaders (11-14, 7-9 OAC)

• Junior forward Elijah Cathey led the Quakers in points and rebounds with 16 and six, respectively

• Junior guard Carson Miles had 12 points and added a team-high six assists

 First Half (Wilmington 41-31)

• A 14-4 run in the last 3:42 propelled Wilmington to a 10-point lead at the half

• Richardson led BW in points with eight

• Senior forward Zach McGuirt lead the Quakers in points at the break with 10

• Wilmington had seven offensive rebounds compared to BW's one

• The Brown and Gold had nine turnovers compared to Wilmington's four

 Second Half (Tied 77-77)

• BW outscored Wilmington 46-36 in the second half

• Richardson and Reynolds each had 10 points in the second half for the Brown and Gold

• The Yellow Jackets made six three-pointers compared to the Quakers' three

•  BW managed to get four steals compared to Wilmington's one

• Richardson scored with no time remaining to send the game to overtime

First Overtime (Tied 85-85)

•  Senior guard Reynolds scored six out of BW's eight points

•  BW went four-for-four from the free throw line

• The Yellow Jackets out rebounded the Quakers with four in contrast to Wilmington's three
