BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University baseball team defeated Ohio Wesleyan University in a non-conference game by a score of 18-8 on the turf of Fisher Field to improve to 14-3 on the young season.
The Yellow Jackets were once again led by their offense, recording 17 hits for their 11th game this season with 10 or more hits, which included six extra base hits (four doubles, a triple and a home run).

Bottom 6th – Senior All-OAC third baseman Sean Kolenich (Parma/St. Edward) singled to center field for BW's 15th run

Bottom 6th – Senior John Panstares (Westlake/St Ignatius) was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, scoring a run

Bottom 6th – Sophomore outfielder Cody Martin (Reynoldsburg) hit a sacrifice fly in foul territory to right field for Ritlinger-Nirider to score a run for the Brown and Gold

Bottom 7th – Junior outfielder Jack Sivec (Oberlin/Keystone) hit a home run to left field in his first at-bat after entering as a pinch hitter, driving in the last run for the Yellow Jackets
At the Plate

Kolenich was 2-for-6 with one RBI and scored two runs

Gordon went 2-for-3 with an RBI and scored a run as well

Petrecca finished the day going 2-for-3 and scoring two runs

Sivec had the swing of the day with a pinch-hit grand slam for the Yellow Jackets' third consecutive home game with a bases loaded jack

Sophomore right-hander Brady Richman (Fort Wayne, Ind./Heritage) pitched five innings for the Yellow Jackets; he allowed one run and four hits, with three walks and a strikeout

Senior left-hander Nolan Kellicker (Dover) pitched one inning, allowing two hits, zero runs, and forcing one strikeout for BW

Senior right-hander Ian Anderson (Broadview Heights/Trinity) pitched 1 ? innings of shutout ball and issued one walk

Freshman left-hander Michael Falls (Lancaster, N.Y.) also pitched an inning and struck out two batters
