OBERLIN, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's outdoor track and field team started the 2025-26 outdoor season at the Bob Kahn Invitational in an unscored meet on the Kahn Track & Shults Field at Oberlin College in a two-day meet.
 
Track Event Highlights

• Senior USTFCCCA All-Region distance runner Sam Sikorski (Columbia Station/Columbia) earned a 5000m run PR with his time of 15:15.23 while finishing second.
• All-Ohio sophomore sprinter/hurdler Aidan Simmons (Frederick, Md./Walkersville) won the 200m dash with his time of 21.75.
• Junior All-Ohio sprinter Wesley Noeth (Powell/Olentangy Liberty) finished in first in the 400m race with a time of 50.26 seconds.
• Junior All-OAC hurdler Samuel Skor (Columbia Station/Columbia) earned a personal record and finished in second place in the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.30 seconds.
• Junior Academic All-OAC distance runner Sage Egan (Toledo/Ottawa Hills) took first place in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 9:55.45.

 
Field Event Highlights

• Junior All-American jumper Amari Waddy (Fort Campbell, Ky.) landed in first place with a high jump mark of 1.97m (6' 5.5").
• Junior All-American thrower Kitar Olsen (Whitefish, Mont.) earned first place with a hammer throw of 50.96m (167' 2").
• Senior All-OAC thrower Mason Kiesel (New London/South Central) won the shot put with a 15.52m (50' 11") put.

 
Relay Event Highlights

• Noeth, Sikorski, sophomore distance runner Christian Orgel (Sullivan/Black River), and Skor earned second place in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:27.05.

• Men's outdoor track and field will head to Slippery Rock, Pa. to compete in the Dave Labor Alumni Invitational on Saturday, April 4 hosted by Slippery Rock University on the William C. Lennox Track.
