No. 18 Men’s Volleyball Comes Up Short Against No. 5 California Lutheran

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – The No. 18 nationally ranked Baldwin Wallace University men's volleyball fell to No. 5 California Lutheran in four sets by scores of 25-16, 15-25, 20-25 and 20-25 inside Gilbert Arena in the Cal-Lu Fornia Invitational at California Lutheran University.

BW Leaders (14-6)
  • Senior Second-Team All-MCVL middle hitter Colby Whiteside (Powell/Olentangy Liberty) and first-year setter Ethan Gundrum (Cincinnati/ McNicholas) led the team with four blocks 
  • Gundrum gave out a team-high 45 assists 
  • Junior right-side hitter Jacob Esteves (Wickliffe/St. Edward) led the Yellow Jackets in kills with 18
  • Sophomore libero David Abercrombie (Maricopa, Ariz.) led the squad in digs with six

  • Connor Crawford led in kills with 15
  • Mason Rowell contributed a team-high seven blocks 
  • Gavin Galanski gave out 42 assists 
  • Braden Gonzales added six digs
