DELAWARE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's outdoor track and field team, led by Head Coach
Joe Eby, earned first place out of 14 teams in the DIII All-Ohio Outdoor Championships at Ohio Wesleyan University on the George Gauthier Track inside Selby Stadium. They earned 151.5 points to win the meet.
BW earned first place at this event in two consecutive years. They also earned first place out of 16 teams at the All-Ohio Indoor Championships in February, sweeping the All-Ohio circuit in 2026. The top three finishers in each event were bestowed All-Ohio honors. There were 11 BW men's athletes who were named All-Ohio between Friday's and Saturday's events.
Track Event Highlights
- Senior All-Ohio sprinter Rodney Washington Jr. (Warrensville Heights/Benedictine) earned third place in the 100m dash by tying his career-best time of 10.81 seconds. This puts him at fourth in the Ohio Athletic Conference.
- Sophomore sprinter/hurdler Aidan Simmons (Frederick, Md./Walkersville) earned first place in the 200m dash with a time of 21.69 seconds to be named All-Ohio. His time is the best in the OAC this season and only .04 seconds shy of his PR.
- Sophomore distance runner Will Prato (Massillon/Jackson) earned All-Ohio honors in the 800m race with a third-place finish of 1:55.92. He is now second in the OAC in this event.
- Sophomore distance runner Michael Dorris (Alliance/West Branch) took third place to earn All-Ohio honors in the 10,000m run with his personal record time of 32:11.15. His time is fourth in the OAC.
- Junior All-Ohio hurdler Samuel Skor (Columbia Station/Columbia) won the 400m hurdles with an OAC-best time of 54.32 seconds. His time stands at second in the OAC and top-30 in the nation.
- Junior distance runner Sage Egan (Toledo/Ottawa Hills) earned All-Ohio honors with his PR 3000m steeplechase time of 9:28.07. His time is second in the OAC, third in the region, and top-30 nationally.
Field Event Highlights
- Junior All-Ohio jumper Amari Waddy (Fort Campbell, Ky.) cleared his best height of the season of 2.01m (6' 7") in the high jump. He stands at second in the OAC, ties for second in the Great Lakes Region, and ties for 19th nationally.
- Senior All-Ohio sprinter/jumper Kaedan Faggs (Marion/Harding) took second place in the long jump with his mark of 7.02m (23' 0.5").
- Junior All-American thrower Kitar Olsen (Whitefish, Mont.) and teammate Mason Kiesel (New London/South Central) were both named All-Ohio after finishing in second and third place in the shot put, respectively. Olsen's mark was 15.36m (50' 4.75") and Kiesel's was 15.21m (49' 11").
- Olsen won the discus throw with a career-best mark of 45.23m (148' 5"). He is second in the OAC and 11th in the region with this throw.
- Olsen also won the hammer throw with an OAC-best 55.61m (182' 5") mark. He stands at third in the Great Lakes Region and 19th in the nation.
Relay Event Highlights
- Washington Jr., Simmons, junior sprinter Joe Blahovec (Greensburg, Pa./Greensburg Central Catholic), and Faggs won the 4x100m relay with a time of 41.66 seconds to earn All-Ohio honors. They are now second in the OAC, sixth in the region, and top-40 nationally with this finish.
