Women’s Lacrosse Triumphs in Five-Goal Comeback Over Otterbein

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse team beat the Otterbein Cardinals by a final score of 13-12 inside Memorial Stadium. The Jackets improved to 9-3 on the season and 3-1 in OAC play. 
 
The Jackets left it all out on the field in a hard-fought battle in Westerville. BW trailed for three quarters before five unanswered goals, with the last two goals from freshman attack Hayley Huston (Strongsville), put BW in the lead to end the OAC matchup.  
 
BW Leaders (9-3, 3-1 OAC) 
  • Huston had five goals for the Yellow Jackets for a new career best 
  • Junior All-OAC Second Team midfield Annette Doren had three goals for BW 
  • First Team All-OAC midfield Clare Alic (Carmel, Ind./Guerin Catholic) scored two goals for the Jackets 
  • Freshman goalie Aubrey Berner (Columbus/Dublin Coffman) had three saves for the Jackets  
 
Otterbein Leaders (9-4, 3-1 OAC) 
  • Junior midfielder Alyssa Glenn led the way for the Cardinals with four goals 
  • Freshman midfielder Madi McIntosh and freshman midfielder Leela Henry both had three goals
