MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Baldwin Wallace University men's outdoor track and field team finished their competition at the Marty Goldberg Gator Invitational, hosted by Allegheny (Pa.) College, inside the Robertson Athletic Complex in an unscored meet.
 
Track Event Highlights

• Junior All-Ohio sprinter Joe Blahovec (Greensburg, Pa./Greensburg Central Catholic) won the 200m dash for a second consecutive week and earned another personal record with a time of 22.22 seconds. This time is 11^th in the Ohio Athletic Conference.
• Sophomore All-Ohio sprinter Aidan Simmons (Frederick, Md./Walkersville) earned first place in the 100m dash with a time of 10.86 seconds. He also earned first place in the prelims with a 10.81 second time that ties for the best 100m dash time of the season at BW.
• Distance runners Sam Sikorski (Columbia Station/Columbia), Will Prato (Massillon/Jackson), and Nate James (Warren/Harding) had a photo finish in the 800m race while finishing in first, second, and third place. Sikorski earned first (1:55.55), Prato took second (1:55.66), and James finished third (1:55.99). Sikorski's time is eighth in the OAC.

 
Field Event Highlights

• Senior All-Ohio sprinter/jumper Drexton Friscone (Columbia Station/Columbia) earned a season-best triple jump mark of 13.59m (44' 7") that puts him third in the OAC for a third-place finish.
• Senior All-OAC thrower Mason Kiesel (New London/South Central) earned a PR with his discus throw of 43.22m (141' 9") to take sixth place. He is now fifth in the OAC with this throw.
• Junior All-American thrower Kitar Olsen (Whitefish, Mont.) won the hammer throw with his 57.42m (188' 5") throw. He hit this mark in his first attempt out of six in the event. His throw is better than everyone in the conference besides himself and the 57.66m (189' 2") throw he had last week.

 
Relay Event Highlights                                                 

• Sprinters Rodney Washington Jr. (Warrensville Heights/Benedictine), Simmons, Blahovec, and Kaedan Faggs (Marion/Harding) earned a season-best 4x100m relay time of 41.56 seconds. This time is second in the conference and 10^th in the Great Lakes Region.
