FOSTORIA, Ohio -- The Baldwin Wallace women's golf team secured an eighth-place finish in a 13-team field at the two-day Heidelberg Fall Invite this weekend, hosted at the Fostoria Country Club.

BW held steady across both days, opening with a 351 on Friday before shaving off a stroke with a 350 on Saturday to lock in eighth place.

Kylie Porter put together a stellar performance to pace the Yellow Jackets, securing a fourth-place overall finish in the 72-player field. Porter fired identical rounds of 76 to close out the weekend at 8-over par with a 152 total.

Taylor Kuhrt posted scores of 86 and 88 to total 174, tying for 35th. Ashley Bistodeau made a big surge on day two, shaving 12 strokes off her opening round of 95 to turn in an 83 on Saturday, placing t-40th with a 178. Hannah Goodrich rounded out the team score, finishing 62nd with a 197 total after rounds of 94 and 103.

The Yellow Jackets will be back in action on Thursday, September 17th at the Walsh Fall Invite at the Glenmoor Country Club in Canton, Ohio.
