WESTERVILLE, Ohio — Baldwin Wallace University defensive lineman Blayze Myers has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Defensive Player of the Week for the week of September 21st. This is the second time this season that a BW football student-athlete has received this honor, and the first of Myers' career.

Myers had a big day in Baldwin Wallace's 42-17 win over Alma, recording two sacks, two forced fumbles and a blocked punt. He finished with five tackles, including two tackles-for-loss, and added a quarterback hurry. He was a disruptive force throughout the game and made an impact on both defense and special teams.

With Myers' help, the Yellow Jackets move to 2-0 to start the season and have looked like a strong, cohesive unit each week.

Myers and the Yellow Jackets return to action on Saturday, September 26 when they host Capital University for their first OAC matchup of the season.
