We're Hosting! Baldwin Wallace Athletics is excited to announce that we will be hosting the 2026 Ohio Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships!

Time: Women's 6k - 11:00 a.m. / Men's 8k - 12:00 p.m.
Entries: Due by October 29 at 9:00 p.m. at Direct Athletics.com (entries open on October 1)

Awards: Team trophies and 1st & 2nd team All-OAC recognition. (10 first team/10 second team). The award presentation will follow the conclusion of the meet at approximately 1:00 p.m. near finish line or inside the gym (depending on weather).
*Only the top 7 finishers from each team are eligible for All-Conference awards.
Apparel: OAC Championship t-shirts will be on sale at this meet.
Locker Rooms: Locker rooms will be available.
Restrooms: Portable toilets will be available at the course. The LCCC gym will also be open.
Parking: Parking will be available throughout campus. The course is located in the fields to the north of campus. There are three large lots on the north side that will be open.
Courses: The course is mostly grass with some gravel and woodchips and a few asphalt/sidewalk crossings. Both courses will be marked with paint or flagging when natural boundaries are not obvious. Turns will be staked, and arrows will be used for both races. Miles and K's will be marked on the ground and with signs. Track athletes will be at all major intersections directing traffic. We will lead both races with a gator. The course will be open 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30 for inspection.

Team Camps: Camps will be located behind the start line.
Coaches Meeting: We will have our coaches meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, and the link will be sent out. Please remember that this is a business meeting and attendance is required.
Hotels and Restaurants: Avon, North Ridgeville, Elyria, North Olmsted and Westlake all have great hotel and food options for your teams.
Athletic Trainers: Trainers will follow each race in a gator, and there will be an EMT and physician on site. Please contact Kari Basiewicz at kbasiewi@bw.edu with questions.
