BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Brett Zupancic played his second season of football at Baldwin Wallace University in 2016-2017. He hopes to earned his second varsity letter and was the starter at tight end.
THROUGH-THE-YEARS: As a freshman in 2015-2016, Brett played his first season of football and earned his first varsity letter. The running back/ linebacker split time between the varsity and junior varsity teams at both RB and on special teams. At RB, Brett carried the ball three times for 14 yards. On defense at LB, he made two tackles. BW finished 7-3 overall.
As a sophomore in 2016-2017, Brett played his second season of football and earned his second letter. He moved from fullback/ linebacker to tight end and was the starter. He caught eight passes for 112 yards and one touchdown. His TD reception was a 4-yard pass from sophomore quarterback Jake Hudson '16 and the game-winner in a 31-21 season-ending victory against Ohio Northern University in Berea. BW finished 3-7 overall..

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Brett grew up in Columbia Station, Ohio and graduated from Grafton Midview High School.
Brett played four years of football.
As a sophomore in 2012, Brett earned honorable mention All-West Shore Conference and honorable mention All-Lorain County honors.
As a junior in 2013, he earned first-team All-WSC and first-team All-Lorain County honors and was the Midview H.S. Offensive Player of the Year.
As a senior in 2014, Brett was first-team All-WSC at both running back and at linebacker and was the WSC Defensive Player of the Year. He also was a first-team All-Lorain County pick and the Lorain County Defensive Player of the Year. Brett also earned second-team All-Northeast Lakes District pick at RB, was the Midview H.S. Most Valuable Player and played in the Ohio North-South All-Star Game.
