Scott Peters enters his second season as an assistant defensive line coach at Baldwin Wallace University in 2025.

Peters comes to BW after retiring from teaching in the Forest Hills School District in the Cincinnati area for 35 years.  He was a 7th and 8th grade physical education and science teacher as well as 9th, 10th and 11th grade science teacher during his tenure.

Peters has coached football at many levels including, middle school, high school, NCAA Division III to arena football in the National Indoor Football League (NIFL).   He has worked at Anderson High School, Elder High School, the Cincinnati Marshalls of the NIFL, Milford High School, Mount St. Joseph University, Nagel Middle School, Thomas More (Ky.) University and Wittenberg University.

Today, Peters is an officer for the Heart of Gold Memorial Fund, a non-profit organization supporting those struggling with cancer and heart disease.

He earned Bachelor of Arts in health and physical education from Wittenberg University, a General Sciecne Certifciation from Cincinnati Technical College and Mount St. Joseph University and a Masters of Sports Administration from Xavier University.

Peters and his wife Julie have three children Megan, Katelyn, and Brooke.
