BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Dayton Hardaway played his first season of football at Baldwin Wallace University in 2015-2016. The freshman quarterback earned a certificate of participation.

THROUGH-THE-YEARS:  As a freshman in 2016-2017, Dayton played his first season of football and earned a certificate of participation. He split time between the varsity and junior varsity teams at QB. Dayton was a key player on a J.V. team that had a 6-1 record. The BW varsity finished 3-7 overall.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Dayton grew up in Chesire, Ohio and graduated from River Valley High School.

Dayton played four years of football and earned four varsity letters. He played four seasons of basketball and earned three letters. He also ran one season of track and lettered.

In football, Dayton was a first-team All-Tri-Valley Conference, two-time All-Southeast Ohio and 2015 All-Ohio selection. He set nine school records, including yards passing in a game (365), season (1,071) and career (4,933), completions in a game (24), season (108) and career (301) and touchdown passes in a game (five), season (15) and career (42).

In addition, Dayton was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Beta Club.

Academically, Dayton was part of the College Credit PLus program at Rio Grande College for three years and was named to the Dean's List six times and received an Associates degree in Arts & General Studies.
