ACADEMIC MAJOR: Pre-Physical Therapy/ Nursing
BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Joe Freeman played his second season of football at Baldwin Wallace University in 2016-2017. The junior cornerback earned his second certificate of participation.
THROUGH-THE-YEARS: As a freshman in 2013-2014, Joe played in his first season of football and saw playing time at defensive back on the junior varsity level. For his efforts Joe received a certificate of participation. BW finished 6-4 overall.
As a sophomore in 2014-2015 and junior in 2015-2016, Joe did not play football.
As a red-shirt junior in 2016-2017, Joe played his second season of football and earned his second certificate of participation. He split time between the varsity and junior varsity teams at cornerback and helped on special teams. Joe played in three varsity games and intercepted one pass. BW finished 3-7 overall.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Joe grew up in Garfield Heights, Ohio and graduated from Garfield Heights High School.
Joe played four years of football and earned two varsity letters.As a freshman, he was awarded the Most Reliable Award. As a senior, Joe was named second-team All-NOC, the Lunch Box Award winner (awarded to dependable players and leaders) and Defensive Back of the Year.
PARENT: Joe is the son of Selena Freeman.
