SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a freshman in 2011, Joe competed in his first season of football as he earned a certificate of participation.
GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION: Joe is off to a solid start to his football career thus far. B-W has recorded an 8-2 record during his first season in the Brown & Gold. He saw time on the junior varsity as a freshman, but will compete for starting safety positions in the future.

HIGH SCHOOL HONORS, SPECIFY SPORT & YEAR: (ALL-CONFERENCE, DISTRICT, ETC.): In football as a senior, Joe was named as a Lake County TD Club charity game scholarship winner, Lake County News-Herald All-Star, and was selected to the Lake County News Herald Senior Bowl. Joe was the team captain during his senior year, and was a two-time Mentor High School Mike Popelas Award winner.
