BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Luis Lona played his first season of football at Baldwin Wallace University in 2015-2016 and received a certificate of participation.
As a freshman in 2015-2016, Luis played his first season of football and received a certificate of participation. He saw playing time on the junior varsity team on the defensive line. BW finished 7-3 overall.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Luis grew up in San Pedro, California and graduated from San Pedro High School.
Luis played football and wrestled. He earned two varsity letters in football and one in wrestling. He earned first-team All-Marine League was the Defensive Player of the Year and served as a team captain.
Statistically as a senior in 2014, Luis had 85 total tackles, including 34 for loss. He led the Los Angeles City Section, Division I in both total tackles and tackles per game. Luis was the first DT to lead team in tackles in San Pedro H.S. history.
Academically, Luis is a National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete Award winner, received the President's Education Award and was a member of the Principal's Honor Roll.
