SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a sophomore in 2011, Matt competed in his second season of football and earned his first varsity letter.
ATHLETIC HONORS: Matt earned Ohio Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week honors for averaging a career-best 47.2 yards in four attempts in a 20-6 Homecoming Game victory against Ohio Northern University on October 15, 2011.
GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION: Matthew has had a solid football career thus far. B-W has recorded a 15-5 record during his two seasons in the Brown & Gold. Following his first season as the starting punter, Matt recorded a total of 50 punts, averaging 38.0 yards a punt with a season long of 51 yards.
As a freshman in 2010, Matt played in his first season of football as a punter. He saw action on the junior varsity team, dressed for varsity games and was the varsity backup punter and earned a certificate of participation for his efforts.
