HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS PLAYED (YEARS & LETTERS EARNED): Zach played four years of football  and baseball and lettered three times in each. He also played basketball for three years and lettered one time.

HIGH SCHOOL HONORS, SPECIFY SPORT & YEAR: (ALL-CONFERENCE, DISTRICT,  ETC.): In baseball, he was named honorable mention All-Eastern District in the 2011 and 2012 seasons. In football as a senior, Zach recieved All-NBC first-team honors, Player of the Year honors for the NEBC,  and All-County accolades. He was also named All-Eastern District first-team, and All-Ohio third-team for his outstanding play on the field.
