Biography

Ben Chase played four years of basketball at Baldwin Wallace University (2013-2017) and earned one varsity letter. He also served as one of four team captains as a senior.

CAREER SYNOPSIS: Ben played four years of basketball and earned one varsity letter. He helped the Yellow Jackets have four straight winning seasons, compile a 63-46 record with a .578 winning percentage and advanced to the 2017 Ohio Athletic Conference Championship Game.

Individually, Ben played in 11 career games, scored 16 points and grabbed two rebounds. a career-high five points in a 121-59 victory against Pitt-Greensburg (Pa.) on December 14, 2016.

BEN'S CAREER THROUGH-THE-YEARS: As a freshman in 2013-2014, Ben competed in his rst season of basketball and earned a certificateof participation. He contributed mainly to the junior varsity team. BW finished 14-13 overall.

As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Ben competed in his second season of basketball and earned a certificate of participation. BW finished 18-9 overall.

As a junior in 2015-2016, Ben played in his third season of basketball and received his third certificate of participation. BW finished 16-11 overall.

As a senior in 2016-2017, Ben played his fourth season of basketball and earned his  first varsity letter. He was one of four team captains (Zack Brandy '17, Cam Kuhn '18 and Jake Fetherolf '18). Ben saw action in 11 contests off the bench as a guard and scored 16 points, grabbed two rebounds and passed for three assists. BW finished 15-13 overall and advanced to the 2017 OAC Championship Game.
