ACADEMIC MAJOR: Early Childhood Education
BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Dane Held played three seasons of men's basketball at Baldwin Wallace University and earned three certificates of participation. He helped the Yellow Jackets to compile a 48-33 record with a .593 winning percentage with three straight winning seasons.
GENERAL BASKETBALL INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2013-2014, Dane played his first season of basketball and earned a certificate of participation. He did not appear in any varsity games. BW finished 14-13 overall.
As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Dane played his second season of basketball and received his second certificate of participation. He played in one varsity game. BW finished 18-9 overall.
As a junior in 2015-2016, Dane played his third season of men's basketball and received his third certificate of participation. The guard did not see action in any varsity games. BW finished 16-11 overall.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Dane grew up in New London, Ohio and graduated from New London High School.
Dane played four years of football, basketball and baseball and earned 12 varsity letters (four in each sport).
In basketball, Dane was a two-time first-team All-Firelands Conference and All-Area and two-time first-team All-District selected, the FC and District Player of the Year as a senior and a two-time honorable mention All-Ohio pick.
In football, Dane earned first-team All-FC and All-Area accolades.
In baseball, Dane was a two-time first-team All-FC and All-Area pick, a first-team All-District choice and the FC Player of the Year.
Academically, Dane was a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council and a first-team Academic All-FC student-athlete.
