ACADEMIC MAJOR:   Human Resources/ Industrial & Organizational Psychology

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:   Jaelen Hollinger was uable to finish his third season of men's basketball at Baldwin Wallace University in 2015-2016 due to an injury. He was an important three-year varsity contributor prior to his injury.  He is out for the rest of the season.

ACADEMIC HONORS:  Jaelen carries a 3.4 grade point average.

GENERAL BASKETBALL INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2013-2014, Jaelen played his first season of basketball and earned his first varsity letter. He played in 24 of 27 games, including one start, and averaged 2.4 points and 2.3 rebounds-per-game. He also had 11 steals, seven assists and two blocked shots. He scored a season-high 11 points in a 73-69 loss at Capital University on January 25, 2014. BW finished 14-13 overall.

As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Jaelen played his second season of basketball and earned his second letter. He came off the bench and played in all 27 games and scored 4.1 ppg. and grabbed 3.0 rpg. He also had 10 assists and 10 steals and shot 81.8 percent from the foul line (45 of 55). BW finished 18-9 overall.

As a junior in 2015-2016, Jaelen was unable to complete his third season of basketball due to an injury. Prior to his injury, he started 13 of the 14 games in which he played at small forward. He averaged 5.8 ppg. and 4.3 rpg.. He also had 10 steals, eight three-pointers and six assists. Jaelen had a career-high 21 points in a 110-109 double overtime loss at Mount Union on December 2, 2015.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Jaelen grew up in Akron, Ohio and graduated from Akron Archbishop Hoban High School.

Jaelen played four years of basketball and earned three varsity letters.

Jaelen was a first-team All-North Coast League and third-team All-Inland District selection. He also was the Hoban Most Valuable Player in 2012-2013.  Jaelen also was selected as a Touchdown Club All-Star.
