ACADEMIC MAJOR: Finance & Accounting
BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Steve Johnson played his third season of men's basketball at Baldwin Wallace University in 2015-2016. He earned his second Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honor.
ACADEMIC HONORS: Steve carries a 3.771 grade point average, is a Dean's List student and Jacket Scholar. As a sophomore in 2014-2015 and junior in 2015-2016, Steve earned Academic All-OAC honors.
GENERAL BASKETBALL INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2013-2014, Steve played his first season of basketball and earned a certificate of participation. He did not appear in any varsity games. The BW varsity finished 14-13 overall.
As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Steve played his second season of basketball and received his second certificate of participation. He played in four varsity games. For his efforts both in the classroom and on the basketball court, Steve earned Academic All-OAC honors. BW finished 18-9 overall.
As a junior in 2015-2016, Steve played his third season of basketball and received a certificate of participation. He saw action in five varsity games at guard and had one steal and one blocked shot. Steve earned Academic All-OAC honors for the second straight year. BW finished 16-11 overall.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Steve grew up in Olmsted Falls, Ohio and graduated from Olmsted Falls High School.
Steve played basketball for four years and earned three varsity letters. He also earned three letters in golf.
In basketball, Steve was a first-team All-Southwestern Conference pick as a senior and earned honorable mention All-SWC honors as a sophomore and junior. Also as a senior, he was named Academic All-Ohio by the OHSBCA (Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association).
In golf, Steve was a first-team All-SWC player as a freshman, sophomore and junior. He also earned honorable mention All-District honors as a sophomore and junior.
Academically, Steve was a National Honor Society student and graduated in the Top 10 percent of his high school class.
