ACADEMIC MAJOR:   Pre-Physical Therapy & Exercise Science

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Zach Warner played four seasons of basketball at Baldwin Wallace University. The three-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference student-athlete earned four varsity letters.

Zach helped the Yellow Jackets to compile a 67-39 record and four straight winning seasons. 

ACADEMIC HONORS:   Zach carries a 3.98 grade point average, is a Dean's List student and a Jacket Scholar. He also is a member of the Alpha Lambda, Dayton C. Miller and Chi Sigma Alpha honor societies. As a sophomore in 2013-2014, he earned the Sonny Degyansky Scholar Award. Zach graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Zach is a three-time Academic All-OAC selection (2013-2014, 2014-2015 and 2015-2016).

GENERAL BASKETBALL INFORMATION:  Zach played four seasons of basketball and earned four varsity letters. He came off the bench and was one of the top three-point shooters in the Ohio Athletic Conference. He helped the Yellow Jackets to compile a 67-39 record with a .632 winning percentage and four consecutive winning seasons.

Individually, Zach was a three-time Academic All-OAC selection and a three-time candidate for CAPITAL ONE Academic All-District 7 honors. He appeared in 9 career games, all off the bench, scored 326 points, grabbed 105 rebounds and made 87 three-pointers. He made 111 of 275 shots from the floor for 40.4 percent, including 87 of 221 three-pointers for 39.4%, and 17 of 28 foul shots. Zach also had 24 assists, 17 blocked shots and 14 steals. He scored a career-high 19 points, including the game-winning three-pointer with less than one second remaining, in a 79-78 victory at OAC and Cleveland cross-town rival and then No.4-ranked John Carroll University on February 10, 2016.

As a freshman in 2012-2013, Zach played his first season of basketball and earned his first varsity letter. He contributed primarily on the junior varsity tean and appeared in six varsity games. He scored two points, grabbed a rebound, had an assist, blocked a shot and made a steal. BW finished 19-6 overall.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Zach competed in his second season of basketball and earned his second letter.  He played in 10 games, scored nine points and grabbed four rebounds. He also had a career-high three rebounds versus the University of Mount Union University.  Zach earned Academic All-OAC honors and received the Sonny Degyansky Scholar Award at the team's season-ending banquet.  BW finished 14-13 overall.

As a junior in 2014-2015, Zach played his third season of basketball and earned his third letter. Zach came off the bench to add scoring. He played in all 27 games and averaged 4.5 ppg. and 1.6 rpg. He ranked third with 33 three-pointers. Zach also had 14 assists, eight steals and five blocked shots. He scored a season-high 15 points in a 73-56 victory against Otterbein University on December 6, 2014 in Berea. He earned his second straight Academic All-OAC accolade. BW fnished 18-9 overall.

As a senior in 2015-2016, Zach played his fourth season of basketball and earned his fourth letter. Zach was named to the Academic All-OAC team for the third straight season. He played in all 27 games off the bench and averaged a career-high 6.6 ppg. and 2.0 rpg. with 50 three-pointers. Zach also had 11 blocked shots, nine assists and four steals. He scored a career-high 19 points, including the game-winning three-pointer with less than one second remaining, in a 79-78 victory at OAC and Cleveland cross-town rival and then No.4-ranked John Carroll University on February 10, 2016. BW finished 16-11 overall.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Zach Warner grew up in Clyde, Ohio and graduated from Clyde High School. 

Zach played four years of basketball and earned three varsity letters 

As a senior in 2011-2012, Zach was both first-team All-Sandusky Bay Conference and All-District 6. As a junior in 2010-2011, he earned second-team SBC honors and garnered both honorable mention All-District 6 and All-Northwest District accolades.

He averaged 15.2 points and 6.1 rebounds-per-game average. He had a career-high 30 points against St. Mary's Central Catholic that also ijcluded nine rebounds and four blocked shots. 

Academically, Zach was a member of the National Honors Society student and the Salutatorian of his graduating class.
