Jeff Morganti enters his first season as an assistant softball coach at Baldwin Wallace University in 2025.

Morganti comes to BW after serving as an assistant coach at the NCAA Division I University of Akron in 2024 working with the outfielders and as a clinic instructor for College Coaches Showcase Camps.

Prior to Akron, he was the head coach at Willoughby South High School in 2023 and and assistant coach at NCAA Division II Ursuline College in 2022.

Morganti was also the head coach at Lakeland Community College from 2013-22.   While at Lakeland, he coached one National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American, 27 NFCA Scholar All-Americans and 18 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Academic All-Americans.  Morganti guided Lakeland to the NJCAA Region XII tournament in 2021 and 22.

In addition, he was the head coach at Willoughby North High School from 2003-09.  While at North, Morganti compiled a 125-72 record with three Premier Athletic Conference Championships and a Division I district title.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in mass-media communications from Akron in 1989,a teaching certificate from NCAA Division I Cleveland State University in 1996 and masters of communication from Akron in 2003.

Morganti resides in Mentor with his wife Deanna, who is an elementary school teacher in Willoughby-Eastlake School District.
