BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Jaki Bender played her first season of softball at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014-2015.

GENERAL SOFTBALL INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2014-2015, Jaki played her first season of softball. She played in three games in the field and two as a pitcher. At the plate, Jaki batted three times and had two base hits (.667 batting average). On the mound, she appeared in two games in relief and had a 0-0 record with a 3.00 earned run average (ERA). She pitched two and one-third innings, allowed six base hits and one run (earned), struck out two batters and walked two others. BW finished 14-23 overall.

As a sophomore in 2015-2016, Jaki is playing her second season of softball and hopes to earn her first varsity letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Jaki grew up in Wampum, Pennsylvania and graduated from Mohawk High School.

Jaki played four years of softball and earned four letters. She also played four years of  basketball and lettered once.

Jaki was a member of the National Honor Society, Conservation Club and was the Treasurer of her class.
