BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Mackenzie Brua played four years of softball at Baldwin Wallace University (2012-2015). The All-Ohio Athletic Conference and All-Central Region player earned four varsity letters.

ATHLETIC HONORS:  As a junior in 2013-2014, Mackenzie was named as a first-team All-OAC player by the OAC Coaches and as an honorable mention All-Central Region pick by National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).

GENERAL SOFTBALL INFORMATION: Mackenzie Brua played four years of softball and earned four letters. The All-OAC and All-Central Region player had a strong career. Mackenzie batted .293 (96-for-328) with 82 runs scored, 17 doubles, one triple, nine home runs, 54 runs batted-in (RBI) and stole 17 bases in 20 attempts. She also had a .433 slugging average, a .385 on-base average and a .980 fielding average. BW had a four-year record of 70-80 (.467 winning percentage).

As a freshman in 2011-2012, Mackenzie played in her first season of softball and earned her first varsity letter. She appeared in 22 games, including 14 starts, and batted .226 (12-for-53) with 12 runs scored, one double and four RBI's. BW finished 18-20 overall.

As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Mackenzie played her second season of softball and earned her second letter. She appeared in 31 games, including 20 starts, and batted .231 (12-for-52) with nine runs scored, nine RBI's and four stolen bases. BW finished 20-18 overall.

As a junior in 2013-2014, Mackenzie played in her third season of softball and earned her third letter. She started in all 37 games at first base and batted .344 (42-for-122) with 36 runs scored, 10 doubles, nine home runs and 29 runs-batted-in. She was named first-team All-OAC and All-Central Region by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA). BW finished 18-19 overall.

As a senior in 2014-2015, Mackenzie played her fourth season of softball and earned her fourth letter. She started all 37 games and batted .297 (30-for-101) with 25 runs scored, six doubles, one triple, 12 RBI's and six stolen bases. BW finished 14-23 overall.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Mackenzie Brua grew up in Avon, Ohio and graduated from Avon High School.

Mackenzie played softball for four years and lettered in three. She also played basketball for four years and lettered in two.

In her four years of softball Mackenzie recieved second team all county and second team all conference in 2009. Mackenzie also earned first team all conference in 2010 and 2011. She also recieved honorable mention Lorain County in 2011 for basketball.
