ACADEMIC MAJOR: Middle Childhood Education
SOFTBALL INFORMATION: Sami Brown played in her fourth season of softball in 2014. She earned her fourth varsity letter.
For her career, Sami is hitting .171 (27-of-158) with 11 runs scored, eight doubles, 16 RBI, and two home runs.
As a freshman in 2011, Sami earned her first varsity letter as she appeared in 22 games with 21 starts. In 49 at-bats, she recorded 11 hits to post a .224 batting average. She recorded five RBI's. Sami also had four extra base hits including three doubles and one home run. In the field, she had 101 put outs, four assists and only two errors for an outstanding .981 fielding percentage.
As a sophomore in 2012, Sami earned her second varsity letter as she appeared in 23 games with 19 starts. Sami only had eight at-bats and one hit for a double and an RBI. In the field, she had 103 put outs, seven assists and only one error for an amazing .991 feilding percentage.
As a junior in 2013, Sami earned her third varsity letter as she appeared in 34 games and with 32 starts. On the year Sami had nine hits, four runs scored, three doubles. one home run and a career-high eight runs-batted-in.
As a senior in 2014, Sami played her fourth season of softball and earned her fourth varsity letter. She appeared in 32 games, starting 31 of them. Sami batted .176 (6-for-34) with four runs scored, one double, and two runs-batted-in. BW finished 18-19 overall.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Sami Brown grew up in Kent, Ohio and graduated from Field High School. Sami played softball for four years and lettered in two. She also participated in Soccer for four years, lettering in three. Sami also played volleyball for one year.
In her four years of softball, Sami was an honorable mention, and second team all conference. She also was the most valuable player for her team, and honorable mention, and second team all conference for soccer.
