FIRST-EVER IN SOFTBALL: On March 13, 2013, Tabitha pitched back-to-back perfect games as the Yellow Jackets defeated both Sul Ross (Texas) University, 8-0 in six innings, and Edgewood (Wis.), 10-0 in five innings. According to both the NFCA (National Fast-Pitch Coaches Association) and the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association), it marked the first time at any level of softball that this feat occurred.
SOFTBALL INFORMATION: Tabitha Murray played her fourth season of softball in 2014. She earned her fourth varsity letter and is one of the top pitcher/hitters in the Ohio Athletic Conference.
For her career, Tabitha is hitting .419 (208-497) with 93 runs scored, 43 doubles, 103 runs batted-in and 23 home runs. She also has pitched in 74 games, starting 55 and including 42 complete games. Tabitha has a 35-25 record in 388 and two-third innings pitched with 344 stikeouts
As a freshman in 2011, Tabitha earned her first varsity letter and was named to the the OACRookie of the Year and first-team All-OAC. She played and started in 36 games and batted .388 (45-for-116) with five doubles, six homeruns, 26 RBI and 11 stolen bases. On the mound, Tabitha compiled a 6-0 record in eight starts with five complete games and an earned run average of 1.65. She struck out 35 batters in 46 and two-third innings.
As a sophomore in 2012, Tabitha earned her second letter as she appeared in 38 games. She batted .367 (47-for-128) with 22 runs scored, 14 doubles, one triple, three homers, 21 RBI and five stolen bases. On the mound, Tabitha had a 7-8 record in 13 starts with nine complete games and a 2.73 ERA in 95 innings of work with 81 strikeouts.
As a junior in 2013, Tabitha earned her third varsity letter as she appeared in 38 games, including 30 appearances on the mound with 22 starts and 19 complete games. Tabitha batted a team and career-best .475 (58-for-122) as she led the team with 13 doubles, nine homeruns and 33 RBI. She also had 25 runs scored and was walked 19 times. On the mound, Tabitha posted a record of 17-10 with a 2.54 ERA. She struckout 173 batters. Tabitha was named as the OAC Pitcher of the Week on March 19, 2013 for her back-to-back perfect game performance and earned her second OAC Hitter of the Week award on April 8 for her efforts in a 5-1 week.
As a senior in 2014, Tabitha played her fourth season of softball and earned her fourth varsity letter. She started all 37 games and batted .443 (58-for-131) with 21 runs scored, 11 doubles, one triple, five home runs and 23 runs-batted-in. On the mound, Tabitha compiled a 5-7 record in 15 appearences and 12 starts, including nine complete games, a 3.13 ERA and 55 strikeouts in 76 innings pitched. She was named as both a first-team All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection and as a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Central Region player. BW finished 18-19 overall.

In softball, Tabitha was a first-team All-Portage Trail Conference for four consecutive seasons at the PTL Most Valuable Player three times. Three times she earned first-team All-District honors and was the Offensive MVP three times.
In volleyball, Tabitha was an honorable mention All-PTL as a junior and earned second-team honors as a senior.
In basketball, Tabitha was a second-team all-league choice as a junior and an honorable mention choice as a senior.
