ACADEMIC HONORS AT BW: As a sophomore in2011, Emily was named a Jacket Scholar. She maintains a 3.75 gradepoint average. Emily was inducted into the National College AthleteHonor Society, Chi Alpha Sigma. As a senior in 2013-14, Emily wasnamed Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference for carrying anoutstanding 3.71 grade point average.
GENERAL SOCCER INFORMATION: Emily played threeyears of soccer at Baldwin Wallace University and earned threevarsity letters.
Individually, she appeared in 53 matches, including 37 starts,took 16 shots, including ten on-goal, scored one goal, added fourassists and scored six total points.
As a freshman in 2010, Emily did not play due to injury.
As a sophomore in 2011, Emily played her first season of soccerand helped the Yellow Jackets to compile an 11-9 overall record.She earned her first varsity letter. During the season, Emilyplayed in 18 varsity contests, took eight shots, including sixon-goal, scored one goal and had one assist for three points. Herlone goal was the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory against PennState-Behrend University (Oct. 5, 2011).
As a junior in 2012-13, Emily competed in her second season ofsoccer. She appeared in 19 games, had two shots and twoassists this season for a total of two points. Emily helped BWcompile a 12-3-4 record.
As a senior in 2013-14, Emily competed in her third season ofsoccer and earned her third varsity letter. Emily saw action in 16matches, 14 of which she started. She took six shots, four ontarget and recorded one assist. Emily was named Academic All-OhioAthletic Conference for carrying an outstanding 3.71 grade pointaverage.
HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: EmilySanders grew up in Canton, Ohio and graduated from Jackson HighSchool. Emily played four years of soccer and lettered allfour years.
As a junior, Emily was Honorable Mention Federal League. As a senior, she was Honorable Mention Federal League once again aswell as team captain and team defensive player.
