BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Asa sophomore in 2013-14, Emily competed in her second season ofsoccer and earned her second varsity letter. She will alsocompete in her second season of lacrosse and look to earn hersecond varsity letter.
ATHLETIC HONORS: As a freshman in2012-2013, Emily was named as the Ohio Athletic Conference Women'sSoccer Goalie of the Week on Oct. 22 as she posted shutouts againstJohn Carroll University (0-0 tie) on Oct. 17 and versus CapitalUniversity (1-0 win) on Oct. 20. As a sophomore in 2013-14, Emilywas named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference for carrying anoutstanding 3.79 grade point average.
GENERAL SOCCER INFORMATION: As a freshman in2012-13, Emily competed in her first season of soccer. She beganthe season as the starting goalkeeper. Emily was named as the OhioAthletic Conference Women's Soccer Goalie of the Week on Oct. 22 asshe posted shutouts against John Carroll University (0-0 tie) onOct. 17 and versus Capital University (1-0 win) on Oct. 20. In herfirst season she played in 18 games and started in 18 ofthem. She had 71 saves and 8 shutouts on the year.
As a sophomore in 2013-14 Emily competed in her second season ofsoccer and earned her second varsity letter. Emily played in19 games and recorded 72 saves and had four shutouts en route to a14-5-1 overall record. Emily was named Academic All-OhioAthletic Conference for carrying an outstanding 3.79 grade pointaverage.
HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: EmilyTallmadge grew up in Fairview, Pennsylvania and graduated fromFairview High School. In high school Emily played four yearsof soccer, ran two years of track and field, and played two yearsof lacrosse. In soccer, Emily earned first-team All-Conferencehonors as a junior and senior and first-team All-PennsylvaniaInterscholastic Association as a senior. Emily also was an HonorRoll student all four years.
